Meet our chef

Summary of Rates

I consider my pricing system to be fairly consistent with other similar personal chef and catering enterprises. Here is a summary.

Chef fee for services rendered
250
Chef fee (discounted for multiple bookings)
$200
Additional Staff (for parties over 10)
$250
Menu Prices:

My menus are priced based on the type of proteins included. Menus with seafood are understandably priced based on market value. Menus listed on the site have corresponding prices listed at the bottom. Prices are for Adults. Menus may be modified to your liking and the Chef reserves the right to amend pricing to reflect those changes.

Kids

As a general rule, I do not charge for children below the age of 10.

For parties with large amounts of children, I will provide a separate kids menu with parental input in deciding what they like best. I am also happy to prepare any food items that is already purchased by the household.

Gratuity Policy

The standard gratuity policy for catering services typically includes the following guidelines:
Service Charge: Some caterers may include a service charge in the bill, which covers incidental costs. If this is the case, it is customary to tip a little less than the standard 15-20%.
.
Gratuity: If gratuity is included in the bill, it is not necessary to tip an additional amount. However, if the service was exemplary, a tip of 15-20% is appreciated.
.
Quality of Service: If gratuity is not included, the amount to tip depends on the service quality. Excellent service may warrant a tip of 20% or more, while just fine service may be 15%.
.
Event Size and Complexity: Larger events or those with extensive preparation and cleanup may require a higher gratuity to reflect the extra effort involved.
.
Negotiation: While gratuity is generally a client's discretion, some caterers may allow negotiation of the gratuity rate.
.
It is important to clarify any service charges or gratuity policies with the catering company in advance to avoid double-tipping.
